We are thrilled to announce a significant and exciting development within the 1300 Campaign. Britt Rios-Ellis, President of California State University, Stanislaus, will be joining us as the new co-chair of the 1300 Campaign starting July 2024.
Britt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our campaign. She holds a Ph.D. in Community Health Sciences from UCLA, an M.P.H. in Community Health Education from California State University, Long Beach, and a B.A. in Health Science from San Francisco State University. Her professional journey has been marked by significant contributions to public health, educational leadership, and community engagement. As the President of CSU Stanislaus, she has been instrumental in leading initiatives that promote academic excellence, equity, and access to higher education.
Her leadership and expertise will be critical as we continue to advance our mission. Britt's dedication to creating systemic change and supporting the success of all students aligns perfectly with our goals for the 1300 Campaign. We are confident that her insights and strategic vision will help propel our efforts to new heights.
